Born In Great Falls, Montana and raised in Fort Walton Beach Florida, Leah knew from a very early age that she wanted to be a part of the entertainment industry. Leah has appeared on Good Day Atlanta, various radio and podcast shows, and was also the Host for the Atlanta-based TV show CD Universe. Leah was nominated twice and was a finalist at the Windtrade Global Awards held in London England for “Women in Media.
Leah understands the drive it takes it to be a successful, independent entrepreneur in her own right. Leah is a songwriter and has released two albums on her record label Kaz Records. She has opened for music icons Chaka Khan, Franky Beverly, and Maze recorded a duet with Grammy Award-winning producer Kashif and entertained our troops overseas for The Armed Forces Entertainment. She was the face of a fine jewelry line for award-winning jewelry designer Steven Zale.
Leah was excited to create a positive show celebrating successful, independent entrepreneurs and share their tips for success. “TV is the most effective medium to reach a diverse audience." So, the production of Indie Style TV with Leah DeVon began.
Leah admires media moguls Cathy Hughes and Shelia Johnson and Tyler Perry for providing quality, positive content for viewers. Their careers inspire Leah and are a great guide for how one person can help others grow to reach their own entrepreneurial endeavors.
